The workshops
24th, 25th, 26th November
After the opening morning of the 24th November, the 6th edition of the European Youth Meeting continued with the planned workshop activities. In the various offices of the Legislative Assembly, students from all over Europe participated in the construction of transnational projects to combat poverty and social exclusion, while their teachers were involved in a process of preparation for the coaching role. The teachers were able to learn the most advanced methodologies to support the project developments that their students design.
Child poverty, youth unemployment and social exclusion are the three main topics on which the project considerations of the students have focused. Leading the workshops was a team of experts of the Cemea-Replay, a resource center for the design and implementation of national and international activities that promote learning and non-formal education for young people.
The workshops began on the afternoon of November 24th and continued until Friday afternoon, November 26th, when the plenary sessions were held during which the students themselves selected the most representative projects to be presented during the closing ceremony of the following day.
