The last day

27th November - the closing ceremony

Saturday, November 27th, in the morning, the closing ceremony of the 6th European Youth Meetingwas held at the Auditorium, Viale Aldo Moro 18. The presentation of the projects developed by the students was done in the presence of Sandro Mandini, Vice-President of the Legislative Assembly, which commented upon the projects dedicated to the topic of Youth unemployment, Donatella Bortolazzi, Assessor for Development Cooperation, youth projects, equal opportunities , which commented the projects dedicated to the topic of Social inclusion, Emanuela Benini, from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate General for Development Cooperation who spoke on the projects dedicated to Child poverty and Agnes Roman, from the European Trade Union Committee for Education intervened on the training course dedicated to the teachers.

The day was concluded with the award ceremony for the video clip that the students prepared for the contest “Take a look at … the Other”. The winners were:

1. first prize: Natural Sciences and Mathematics High School “Academic Boyan Petkanchin”, Bulgaria
2. second prize: Gymnazium Jozefa Gregora Tajovskeho, Slovakia
3. third prize: ISISS Giordani, Parma (Italy)
4. fourth prize ITC Rosa Luxemburg, Bologna (Italy)
